Boost your fight training to the next level at the 2012 Master Class held in the spacious Systema training facility in San Diego, California. Spend four hands-on days with one of the martial art’s most sought after practitioners, Martin Wheeler. Gain profound personal insights into the deep physical, psychological and even healing aspects of Systema from Martin’s teaching experience with security professionals around the globe.
This year’s focus will be on: Knife defense and knife-to-knife fighting, the use of combat throws in Systema, clinch and take-down defense, and even how to fight with multiple assailants. The course is designed at each level to build through stages, progressing the beginner or advanced student to greater proficiency.
DAY 1 - KNIFE FIGHTING.
A unique day of knife defense. Working soft work to knife defense. How to strike. How to work knife-against-knife. With massage, breathing and conditioning work.
DAY 2 - COMBAT THROWS AND TAKE-DOWN DEFENSE
Day two is dedicated to understanding to the throwing principles of Systema. From simple unbalancing to full combat throws. Then clinch defense and take-down defense. With massage, breathing and conditioning work.
DAY 3 -MULTIPLE ATTACKERS
One of the deadliest areas of study: multiple attackers. Broken down into drills designed to develop the skills necessary to take on multiple assailants at the intuitive level. With massage, breathing and conditioning work.
DAY 4 - MASTERS DAY
Day four is dedicated to combining all the previous areas of study into a unique and comprehensive view of your martial art.
Six hours a day of solid training and Systema philosphy with one of The System’s most unique practitioners. Guaranteed personal instruction. A not to be missed event.
